As I said in the above Welcome Post, I'll be adding a special page in our site just for Christian Homeschool Links. If you have a second, could you please post your favorite links and what you use them for! Soon I'll get the page up, but for now, let's just keep a running reply tab on what the best Christian Homeschool sites are!

In Christ,

Valerie

I'll get started by introducing myself! ;-) I'm Valorie and I am a homeschooling mom of 5--a 3rd grader, a 1st grader and a preschooler. (The other two are to young to homescool.)

The first thing people usually want to know is their state laws so my first suggestion for a link is HSLDA, which is the best place to go for information on state laws.
Hello! I'm Heather and I am a homeschooling momma of a 4th grader. This is our first year homeschooling. This year I continued the curriculum (Abeka) she had been using at the Christian school she attended prior to 4th grade.

Something that helped me decide that I really wanted to homeschool was reading the book So You're Thinking About Homeschooling by Lisa Whelchel. I enjoy visiting her website.

Also, I blog and I interact with other homeschooling families online. This helps tremendously on the encouragement level! I would encourage any homeschooling mother to start her own blog!

I also have a (just turned) 4yo. We've been joining in on Valerie's Laplinks and have been enjoying making Lapbooks since our first Pumpkin one. I have several sites that I like to look online for free printables. I have a list on my blog on the left side bar. You'll have to scroll down a little bit to find it, but it's labeled Homeschool Resources.

Looking forward to seeing other great links!

HI :) I'm Jasmine. I homeschool my 3 children ages 6, 4 and 2. Well, our 2yo just joins in the fun stuff ;), but she's learning quite a bit just listening to her siblings.

One site I like is homeschoolhelperonline

Teacherhelper.org is my new favorite place to visit for new ideas.

I know there's tons of sites out there and am looking forward to seeing what else everyone likes.

Blessings,
Jasmine
Yep teacherhelper is good. . .along the same vane I like enchanted learning (WELL worth the subscription) thelearningpage which is free, abcteach, edhelper, and kidssoup (another subscription service but is geared towards pk!)
We have a subscription to enchanted learning and are loving the resources there; especially since it covers a wide range of ages.

I haven't checked out kidssoup yet, that sounds like fun. Thanks for sharing!

Jasmine
Kidsoup is awesome! Thanks for sharing that one, looks like they've got a few freebies too!

I hope to get a page up for the links soon!

Valerie
Ok, I've got a little more time now so I'll put some of the links off my list here.

A to Z
abcteach
Activity Village
Homeschool Helper: Free Lapbooks
FunLessonPlans

And for us moms who love to plan... Lesson plan forms
Take your time Valerie! ;-)

We are Sonlight users. I am lapbooking through science and we're currently working on the Arctic Circle. ;-)
Hey there everyone! Newbie here! :) I'll fully introduce myself in another post.

I"m not sure I have very many strictly christian homeschool links but here are a couple I dug up.

Bible based coloring pages:
http://www.silk.net/RelEd/lessonplans4.htm
http://www.christiananswers.net/kids/clr-indx.html
http://www.sundayschoolresources.com/
http://www.dltk-bible.com/coloring.htm (Was this one already listed?)

http://kingskidstuff.home.att.net/
http://www.raindrop.org/rugrat/color.shtml
http://www.kidzunderconstruction.net/coloring.html
http://first-school.ws/theme/bible.htm
http://sunday-school-fun-zone.com/index.html
http://www.nwcreation.net/kids.html
http://www.ebibleteacher.com/children/index.htm
http://www.childrensbiblestudy.com/

A free creation based dinosaur unit study
http://www.homeschoolshare.com/dinosaurs.php

and also www.homeschoolshare.com is just a great site in general. I've found tons of things on there.

Most of my links are in regards to Creation since that's what I was searching for most recently. :)
This is awesome, I just found it!

Free Worksheet Generator (for tracing or copywork)

So far my favorites probably aren't much different than anybody else's but here they are:
www.hubbardscupboard.org, and enchantedlearning.com, first-school.ws and of course dltk.kids.com, this is not really related to homeschooling per se, but they have lots of handy ideas which all of us could use I think, hillbillyhousewife.com
I'm Elizabeth, a homeschooling mom of a 4 year old and two 2 year olds. I like a lot of the websites I've already seen posted by others, but I'll add some that I didn't see.
www.starfall.com - for learning letters and sounds
Unfortunately, that's the only one I can find right now. I'll post some more later.
