In a few weeks we are going to be studying Joshua and the battle of Jericho in my Journey class on wens. we teach 4-5's so i had this idea and since so many have love the idea and told me they have not thoght of it i thoght i would share it hear on my site with all of you ok hear it is i hope you like it :
like i said we will be studying Joshua and Jericho So Since my hobby is making pinatas i made the wall of Jericho (kind of the kids will get it )

I am still working on painting an decorateing the inside willneed to be scored so the little ones can break it easy
any way the idea after the lesson we are going to give the kids little trumpets that we got from the party store and have them march around it but we may not make them be silent i have a few songs for them to sing R-h-a-b, Joshua got a plan from God and March March around Jericho and Jericho's walls came tumbleing down. They will get to blow there trumpets and sing songs then we will get them a bat or stick and lable it the hand of God and they will get to "bring down the wall" this is kind of an activity/craft it i belive will enforce the lesson and be fun that they will love to go home and tell there parents about oh and lets not for get that when the wall breaks the "belssings" will shower down for listening to God :) I also plan to have rahab painted at one end or the other and 2 men climbing out the window If you like the idea and would like to try it please do if you can think of any thing i may have forgoten or just have an idea/sujestions to add to it please let me know
